How to take CBD

Sublingually- (under tongue) 10 to 15 minute onset, highly efficient absorption, last 4 to 6 hrs.

Topical- 1 hour onset, medium to low absorption efficiency, last 5+ hrs.

Vaped- Cartridge- 5 to 40 min onset, high absorption efficiency, last about 2 hrs.  The 2 hours estimate is due to the fact that the liquid must be thin enough to be vaporized by the heating elements.  Six Element CBD oil is too thick to be vaporized but it can be used in the other three methods.

Isolate- 5 to 10 min onset, high absorption efficiency, last about 3 hrs.  Isolate is pure CBD extract in powder form.  It can be vaped using a glass rig or a heating coil pen.

What’s in CBD & Hemp Products

CBD oil is a natural, concentrated extract from hemp plants. The oil contains less than .3% THC, this percentage makes any trace of THC ineffective.  Each Six Element vial contains 30ml of MCT Oil.  The included 1 ml dropper contains 20 mg of Full Spectrum CBD oil.  MCT is an essential fatty acid whose health benefits include: better brain and memory function, energy boost, increased endurance, weight loss, improved weight management, lowered cholesterol, and lowered blood sugar levels.

Full Spectrum CBD includes a large selection of Cannabinoids, which are the most important molecules found in the hemp plant.  Working in unison, they enhance each other’s effectiveness in the treatment of ailments in what is called the entourage effect.  Plant sterols are also present which help to regulate cholesterol levels.  These include sitosterol, campesterol, and stigmasterolVitamin E naturally occurs in hemp which protects your cell walls and DNA from excess oxidation, thus producing an anti-aging affect.  Chlorophyll, which is present in all green plants, helps with the integrity of cell structure and detoxes the system by binding to metals.  Terpenoids are present in select products and house much of the scent and flavor found in cannabis.

What is Endocannabinoid System

Endo is greek for within, cannabinoid is defined in Webster’s dictionary as “biologically active”.

The Endocannabinoid system is a natural system of receptors located within the brain and throughout our nervous system that responds to and creates cannabinoid compounds. Through research, the Endocannabinoid System is said to be linked to appetite, pain regulation, digestion, reproduction, motor learning, stress, sexual health, cardiovascular health and memory; just to name a few. While this system is only made up of three parts: Endocannabinoids, receptors and enzymes.  The effects of these three components working simultaneously have had a positive impact on many mental and bodily functions without the psychoactive properties associated with marijuana.

Yes… as long as it follows the federal guidelines. The CBD must be hemp derived and contain less than 0.3% THC, anything over is illegal. CBD is also not FDA approved (yet) and is not permitted in food products or dietary supplements without a GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe) certification.

Without the FDA’s approval, the health claims stemming from CBD are solely based off of individuals using the products.

The Six Element Name

Six Element Products was named due to the natural process of growing and creating the product.  Each element is just as essential as the next.

  • Earth- Soil is essential in all plant growth, it is the base of our existence and the foundation in which we plan to grow and expand our product.
  • Fire- The Sun provides the energy for the entire planet which includes the energy plants need to grow.
  • Water- is essential in seed germination and healthy root growth. Once the plant grows, water transports nutrients from the soil to the plants leaves assisting in the photosynthesis process. Water is perhaps the most essential element necessary for all life.
  • Air- Wind works to increase the movement and availability of carbon dioxide, increasing the plant’s rate of photosynthesis. Wind also creates stress on the plant which causes each plant to become stronger.
  • Metal- Within in the soil are natural metals necessary for plant growth. Common micronutrients include Zinc, Iron and Potassium. These metals are also necessary for a healthy human body.
  • Hemp- Earth, Fire, Wind, Water and Metal, when combined in perfect unison along with our organic seed, a sixth element is created.
